Tracker & Lists

The Tracker is for items that recur or need ongoing management — birthdays, bills, subscriptions, regular reminders, and anything you need to track over time.

  1. Go to the Tracker view
  2. Tap New List
  3. Choose an emoji icon and name (e.g., ”🎂 Birthdays”)
  4. Optionally set a default recurrence for new items
  5. Save

Tap the + button within a list to add an item. Each item can have:

  • Title — what to track
  • Due date — when it’s next due
  • Recurrence rule — how often it repeats
  • Notes — additional details

Items can repeat on various schedules:

RuleExample
DailyEvery day
WeekdaysMonday through Friday
WeeklyEvery Monday
BiweeklyEvery other Tuesday
Monthly15th of every month
YearlyMarch 15 every year
CustomEvery 3 weeks, every 2 months, etc.

You can also set an end date for recurrence — the item stops repeating after that date.

When you complete a recurring item:

  1. The item is marked as complete
  2. A new occurrence is automatically created with the next due date
  3. The completed occurrence disappears from the active view

This keeps your tracker focused on what’s coming up, not what’s done.

Items are visually grouped by urgency:

IndicatorMeaning
🔴 RedOverdue — past due date
🟡 AmberDue this week
⚪ GrayDue later or no due date

Tracker items with due dates automatically appear in the Today view:

  • Overdue tracker items show in the Overdue section
  • Today’s items show in Due Today
  • Upcoming items show in Upcoming grouped by date

This means you don’t need to check the Tracker separately — your daily view shows everything that needs attention.

You can move thoughts between Inbox and Tracker:

  • Inbox → Tracker: Open a thought, tap the menu, select “Move to Tracker”, then choose a list
  • Tracker → Inbox: Open a tracker item, tap the menu, select “Move to Inbox”

Tap the import button on a list to bulk-add items from CSV format. Each line becomes a separate item.

Export any list to CSV for use in spreadsheets or other apps. The export includes titles, due dates, recurrence rules, and notes.
